This two-day course covers the Tanker Management Self-Assessment 3 standard (stages 1 and 2).

• Review the history of TMSA and why the oil majors use it

• Understand the AIM for each of the 13 TMSA Elements

• Review and discuss the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Best Practices for stage 1 and 2

• Discuss how to integrate TMSA requirements into your internal TSMS

• Review how to assess your compliance with TMSA

• Discuss oil companies’ intent on conducting onboard TMSA verification audits and how to prepare for those

• Review the different methods various oil majors score and report TMSA audit results

• Discus how you can best prepare for a TMSA management System Audit

 

This training includes hands on exercise with cases to practice determining causation. This course meets the Sub M, TMSA3, ISM Code, RCP, and ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 standards

 

Persons attending this training must bring a copy of the TMSA3 standard to the class. The course is taught by persons who actually helped develop TMSA versions, conduct TMSA audits and have trained oil company auditors.
